Key Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk team members to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
- Deliver outstanding customer care and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
- Respond professionally to guest inquiries, reservations, and concerns
- Oversee check-in and check-out processes in line with hotel standards
- Use suggestive selling techniques to increase occupancy and revenue
- Train, coach, and support front desk staff to maintain service excellence
- Resolve guest complaints and issues quickly and effectively
- Ensure compliance with company credit, cash handling, and billing policies
- Allocate rooms based on guest preferences and special requests
- Coordinate closely with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments
- Maintain and update front office and hotel logbooks
- Ensure safety and security procedures are followed at all times
- Take charge in the absence of the Duty Manager or Front Office Manager
- Assist other departments during peak periods and perform assigned duties
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or supervisory role within a hotel environment
- Strong understanding of front office operations and guest service standards
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and billing procedures
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
