Key Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and mail on assigned rural routes accurately and on time
- Learn all delivery points and routes to ensure efficiency
- Sort freight in collaboration with team members
- Complete pre-vehicle safety and maintenance checks
- Load and unload delivery vans safely and efficiently
- Use scanners to track deliveries and process returned or leftover freight
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and professional standards
Requirements
- Full, clean NZ Driver’s License (required)
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Minimum driving experience preferred
- Availability for at least 30 hours per week
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading packages and working early mornings
- Punctual, reliable, and resilient with strong work ethic
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
