    Key Responsibilities

    • Create promotional assets for campaigns, including social media posts, stories, reels, posters, flyers, signage, menus, tickets, banners, and sponsor graphics
    • Maintain Firefly Cinemas brand consistency across all materials
    • Prepare print-ready and digital files to required specifications
    • Collaborate with management to develop creative campaign visuals

    Social Media Content & Posting:

    • Produce, write, and schedule engaging content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others
    • Manage content calendars and respond to trends with quick-turn graphics
    • Support basic community engagement and audience interaction

    Photography & Video:

    • Capture high-quality event photos (crowds, atmosphere, setup, key moments)
    • Record and edit short video clips for social media, including Reels/TikTok
    • Apply basic color correction, audio cleanup, and simple video transitions

    Event Support & Audience Hosting:

    • Attend drive-in sessions and community events
    • Welcome and guide guests to ensure smooth and positive experiences
    • Assist with on-the-ground marketing and signage setup

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in a design/advertising/content role (agency, in-house, freelance, or events-based)
    • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator; InDesign a bonus
    • Video editing proficiency (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
    • Photography skills: composition, lighting, and quick capture of key moments
    • Understanding of social media formats and content best practices
    • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and teamwork
    • Relevant qualification preferred (Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Marketing, or equivalent experience)
    • Full NZ work eligibility; driver’s license and reliable transport advantageous
    • Availability for evening and weekend work during event season
