Welder Jobs in Qatar. V2X is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Welder to join our operations in Doha. This role involves performing a wide range of welding, cutting, and metal fabrication tasks to support the maintenance, repair, and construction of structural and mechanical systems in accordance with strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding using electric arc, acetylene, inert gas shielded welding, brazing, tack welding, flame cutting, pressure welding, and heat treating
• Lay out and fabricate angles, arcs, and circles for the construction or repair of metal structures
• Interpret blueprints, building plans, and technical drawings
• Install and adjust lines and ductwork supporting HVAC/R systems
• Execute flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead welds on light and heavy structures made from various metals
• Conduct precision welding on jigs, dies, and engineering equipment
• Follow comprehensive safety programs in compliance with V2X, OSHA, and USAF standards
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional work areas
• Properly use, safeguard, and maintain government and contractor-provided tools and equipment
• Accurately complete time reporting and documentation
• Participate in required training programs and perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Journeyman card or recognized trade certification, state contractor’s license, ICC certification, or documented military journeyman-level experience
• Valid U.S. Passport and U.S. Driver’s License (manual transmission required)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. SECRET Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain an Air Force flight line driver’s license and flight line access badge
• Successful completion of medical, psychological, dental, drug testing, background checks, and deployment requirements
• Completion of hands-on CBRN defense training, including protective gear fit testing

• Proficiency in multiple welding techniques and processes
• Strong blueprint reading and technical interpretation skills
• Knowledge of HVAC/R ductwork installation and adjustment
• High attention to detail and precision
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and compliance standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-security environments
